  1. What are widgets? What can I do with them?

    Widgets are tools that provide additional functionality to your site. You may add them to preset widget areas available in all LWP templates. Arrange and remove from the sidebars of your blog as you see fit. They can help in not just adding content but also add improved functionality to the site.

    To help you get started LWP has several pre-configured widgets for you to choose from. If you are an experienced developer then you also have the option to build one for yourself.

  3. How does LWP help me grow my Social Presence?

    LWP helps you connect with the world. Currently LWP can be integrated with Facebook and twitter, with many more social outlets such as linkedIn and myspace on their way.

  5. How are your LWP sites hosted? Is there a backup and other protection for my LWP site?

    LWP websites are hosted at Rackspace cloud. Rackspace boasts a 100% network uptime, and is an extremely reputable hosting provider. All your sites are covered under a Managed Backup plan so you relax while we manage your entire backup.

  7. Can I download LWP and use it on my own?

    We can deliver custom solutions that are hosted remotely or self-hosted based on requirements. If interested, contact us to speak with a solutions specialist. LWP is a Software as Service (SAaS) based model and is not available for download.

  9. Can I set up auto content posting to my blog from different sources?

    LWP contains an auto feature called the LWP Feed Burner that creates posts based on content from several Feeds.

    To access the LWP Feed Burner from Dashboard>Posts. In this tab, click on ‘Add campaign’ from the left hand menu. From the feed tab, enter the Feed URL, click on submit and you are done.   11. How do I configure adspace on my site? How can I manage ad postings?

    Ads configuration is available from Dashboard>Ads>Settings. While in the tab, you would have the option to Optimize Ads, check for updates, statistics and other settings.

    To manage ad postings, simply follow Dashboard>Ads>Edit, from the list of Ads, check the ones you want and select the visibility from the available drop downs. Click on filter to apply the chosen settings.

  13. What different types of Media can I have on my website?

    LWP supports all media extensions to include on your site, whether it be custom images to display on pages, or documents for download, such as excel spreadsheets, music, and more. You may access your Media Library by selecting Dashboard>Media>Library.

  15. How do I create/edit/setup forms on LWP?

    Forms provide an effective way of your visitors to communicate with you. To create a form, go to Dashboard>Forms>Create a form.

    Here you may choose from one of the many templates available or create your own. It is equally easy to edit a form as well. Go to Dashboard>Forms>Forms, and click the form you wish to edit. Once you’ve made the modifications, click on update to complete.

  19. How do I link my Facebook account to LWP?

    Facebook is the fastest growing social network, which is why we integrated LWP with FB to help you to not just being able to post wall comments but also update status, read news feeds and much more. To link your facebook account to LWP you would need a one time login code from Facebook.

    From the Social Media section of your Dashboard, simply select LWP Social Access. Click on the facebook icon to get the code. Paste that into the space provided and click on submit.

    On being successful, you will receive a confirmation message that says, “AppStacks LWP FBUpdate appears to be configured and working just fine.”

  21. Which Social networking sites does LWP connect to?
    LWP helps you connect to your world via Facebook and Twitter and this list will expand as we continue to add other social networking sites such as LinkedIn, Myspace and many more

  23. How do I link my Twitter account to Twitter?

    To link your twitter account: from the Social Media section of your Dashboard, simply select LWP Social Access. In the right hand column, please enter your Twitter Username and Password in the space provided. To complete the process, select the ‘Use Post Slug’ , ‘Advanced status composition’ from the miscellaneous options . Then just type in your email address and click on save to confirm.

  25. How can I track the traffic that is directed to my application from social media?

    We trust on the world’s most reliable tracking system to help you: Google Analytics. You may easily access the traffic data from Dashboard>Statistics>Google Analytics Statistics. You can also use the Website Statistics included package for built-in analysis of your traffic, sources, referrals, search terms, and other valuable information.

    In addition to using detailed site analytics, we have also provided a detailed “Social Analytics” module for even more in-depth analysis of your social reach, your following, and your social activity. The Social Analytics section of your administration area will show you your total following across the integrated social channels, and your top content, referrals, social engagement, clicks, and other valuable information from your social outlets.

  27. How do I add users to my site?

    You can easily add users with different privilege accesses to help you manage your site more effectively. Add a User option is available from DashBoard>Users. When viewing the tab you can enter the new user details including their password which may be sent to the users via email.

  29. How do I give specific access privileges to specific users?

    With the feature of being able to give different access privileges to different users, you may select exactly who is able to access or modify various protected sections of your site. This may be achieved in two ways:
    – (1) While adding a new user you have the option to select the role/privilege for the user from the drop down list.
    – (2) If the user already exists, go to the Users option under DashBoard>Users. Check mark the user whose privilege you want to change, then from the ‘Change Role to’ drop down list, select the privilege you would want to assign and click change.
    The status is updated immediately.

  31. How do I edit a user profile?

    To make changes to a user’s profile, go to the Users tab available from Dashboard>Users. Click on the User profile you wish to edit. At this screen, you may change everything from the first and last name to email ID and the password for the user.

    A username cannot be modified or edited.
